One huge benefit of using BookingSuite’s software solutions is that our websites work with all booking engines.
That’s right, all of them.
If your nephew hacked together a booking engine in your basement 20 minutes ago, you’d just need the URL to plug into BackOffice and you’d be in business.
Luckily, we have a sophisticated booking engine you can use instead—or you may opt for SynXis, or SiteMinder, or myriad others—whatever you want. The point is: BookingSuite works with that.
This is just one of many hotel-forward features we have built into our WebComplete plan. However, it is sometimes overlooked or confused with our WebDirect plan, which synchronizes availability, rates, and inventory (ARI) from Booking.com. But WebDirect is just one of our software solutions.
WebComplete very much still smells as sweet as its “buuteeq” predecessor. More so, in fact: In addition to still supporting the third party syncs we’ve always supported, there are also major innovations and new releases in the works for WebComplete.
Lead Product Manager Brian Nash breaks it down like this: “WebDirect is a brand new product aimed at Booking.com loyalists. It’s more tightly integrated for customers who are already on Booking.com and enjoy that partnership.”
If you already manage your site as a separate channel, WebComplete is the product you want. You can continue to use the rate management system you like, including independent booking engines.
WebDirect partners can also use our frontend skin and manage their ARI on Booking.com, or manage it in our BackOffice.
All three options exist with WebComplete. We still have the buuteeq ARI system; it’s just been rebranded for BookingSuite. If you want to replace that ARI brain with SynXis or SiteMinder, or any others, you can.
The WebComplete product was designed from scratch for the independent hotel—to make it as easy as possible for the hotel to use. Our WebComplete plan is crafted for that purpose. It’s designed to be agonistic and designed to be hotel-forward.
“We get that there are sometimes reasons why you use a certain bookings system. Maybe you’re part of franchise, or it’s integrated with your PMS. We get the challenges and we’re adaptable,” Nash said.
Awesome new features and the BookingSuite of products will continue to grow and even accommodation providers who are not Booking.com users will find appeal in them, Nash said.
“We think we have a good solution that streamlines operations and solves a lot of challenges with other systems. Our products are modules made to work with that reality. Other things we work on will be similarly snap in/snap out.”
“We’re still here to serve the hotels and help their business. That’s still our primary mission.”
